Easy Event Planning LLC (EEP) has a great internship for those wanting sales experience. We have the fastest-growing event site in the country and we are on the very ground floor in terms of selling advertising at the site. We are already ranking on page 1 for tons of keywords in key markets. We are strong believers in consultant-style sales – learn your product and present options but don’t be a pushy salesperson. It’s a very low-pressure, supportive environment. You will learn very important sales operations skills that can set you up for success in the field.
- sell booths to event vendors in Upstate NY. We have held the highest-attended bridal shows in upstate NY for 15 straight years. Our shows have a great reputation.
- research and contact the decision-maker responsible for making brand-level decisions at chain businesses.
- recruit affiliates around the country to recommend our site to their networks
- handle inbound sales inquiries
This is a 100% virtual internship. You would need to be able to work between 9 am and 5 pm EST, as that is where our bridal show vendors are located. On days you aren’t working, you’d need to be able to respond to returned calls/emails. Communication will take place via Zoom, Skype video, audio, and chat. You will work directly with the company’s CEO unless a sales director is hired.
Can I get credit for this internship?
Absolutely. Just let us know what paperwork your school requires and give us 7 days’ notice when evaluations must be submitted. *Check with your internship coordinator BEFORE accepting to determine if this fits within the requirements of an academic internship.

How many hours do you require?
10 is the minimum but we are hoping for students to want to work more.
What do we look for in an intern?
We love working with students who want to work hard, learn and in this case, earn income. We need students to be highly responsive and proactive.
What are the weekly requirements?
You must indicate which days/hours you plan to work for the following week and then record actual hours worked each workday, attend two weekly meetings with your team, track your daily progress and be highly responsive to both vendors and our CEO.
