The Pastry Cook will have basic knowledge in all cooking and baking techniques and presentation. Keen eye for detail, ability to follow recipes accurately. Experience in special events, baking, plating desserts and pastries. Preparing all desserts and pastries items maintaining highest quality possible. Does not sacrifice quality in taste nor presentation when working under pressure.
- Assists the Pastry Chef in making and plating all desserts, pastries and ice creams.
- Assists in all banquet and special events.
- Flexible working days/hours for club business needs.
- Maintain Health Department standards and follow correct food handling procedures.
- Works clean and neat and keeps work area clean including walk-in box and refrigeration.
- Stores all food items properly rotating par to avoid spoilage.
