Design Automation Engineer Intern

Intel is looking for an Intern to join this collaborative team.
In this role responsibilities include although not limited to:
– Develops and tests Engineering Design Automation tools
– Creates flows and scripts to analyze and test design methodologies
– Specifies materials equipment and supplies required for completion of projects
– Evaluates vendor practical capabilities to provide required products or services
– Responsible for designing deploying and testing efficiency of tools to utilize in achieving design goals and collaboration with design teams on methodology development
Internship will run for 3+ months
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
The candidate must be enrolled in a Masters degree or PhD program
Have 3+ months of experience in the following:
VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) experience
Physical design CAD (Computer Aided Design tool expertise
Synopsys/Cadence EDA (Electronic Design Automation) experience
Scripting skills Perl, TCL, or Python
Circuit design, physical design, or timing convergence
