Linn County Mental health is recruiting for a therapist to work with victimized, emotionally disturbed and/or behavior disordered children and families. The person filling this position will be skilled in assessment, individual, family and group therapy, case management and consultation. The successful candidate may work in a rural or urban community, partnering with formal and informal community resources, providing clinic and school based mental health services. Previous training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma‐Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy is preferred. Must be willing to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow documentation requirements in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules and department policies and procedures. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Criminal History check. Primary Work Location for this position is Linn County based and location are subject to change depending on program needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to pass a criminal history check and possess a valid Oregon drivers’ license. Bilingual Spanish skills a plus. Requires successful completion of a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, and counseling or in a related field, two years’ experience AND Oregon professional licensure is required.
