The Mission of the Marion County District Attorney’s Office Victim Assistance Division is currently Looking for Volunteers and Interns for our next training that starts September 13th, 2021. The deadline for applications for this training is August 2nd, 2021.
We also have a training coming up on July 19th, 2021 for those who are interested in soley being a 24hr on call Sexual Assault Response Advocate. The deadline for applications for this training is June 11th, 2021.
The mission of the Victim Assistance Division is to involve crime victims and the community in a healing process that lessens the devastating impact of crime. Our volunteers and interns make this possible by contributing their time, compassion and skills to our program by becoming an advocate for victims of crime. Crimes include but are not limited to: Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Child Sexual and Physical Abuse, DUII, Robbery, Elder Abuse and crimes committed by Juvenile Offenders.
