Start Date / End Date: May to August, Summer 2022
Pay / Compensation: $15 per hour 40-hour work week for the summer.
Internship could lead to full time employment and pay increase.
The National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America, NAMMBA, is a national trade association dedicated to the enrichment and betterment of women and minorities in the real estate finance industry. We focus on providing education and professional development to all of our members nationwide.
One of our top community banking partners is seeking sophomore, junior and senior college student interns for a variety of departments including Mortgage Lending, Wealth Management, Audit, Finance/Accounting, Tax, Information Technology, Marketing, Risk Management, HR and many more. Internships will last approximately 10 weeks between May and August and can be onsite or remote.
This internship will give students the guidance to excel within their intern role. All assignments will vary depending on the functional area of their internship and will add value to both the employer and the students development as an upcoming professional. They will learn how the banking industry operates behind-the-scenes and will have the opportunity to explore the many career paths within the organization and banking industry as a whole.
This experience will include the opportunity for hands-on assignments in related fields of study, group projects with other interns focusing on a real-time business issues, professional and leadership development activities, as well as social and community events.
