We are searching for someone who can provide Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership to ensure or exceed compliance with internal and external EH&S Elements (IH&S, Technical Safety, and Environmental) across the Greensboro P&G manufacturing site.
This leader plays a critical role towards EH&S excellence through coaching, developing, and qualifying the HS&E staff and individual site HS&E System Owners, who lead the development, deployment, and improvement of the HS&E Systems. Responsibilities include coaching the site leaders to ensure integration of HS&E systems with the site vision and strategy. You will also be responsible for leading and delivering capable systems as measured by the HS&E Corporate Assessment, and the external HS&E Legal and regulatory interactions. A key responsibility of the role includes leading the continuous improvement in all HS&E losses with specific attention to the site Total Incident Rate (TIR).
A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Environmental (or other related degree and/or work-related experience)
* Industrial Health and Technical Safety experience for 4+years
* Experience with environmental systems (air permits, storm water, waste water, and air emissions) for 4+ years
* Experience working with external regulatory agencies
* Experience with LEAN manufacturing loss elimination tools
* Ability to influence resources at all levels of the organization, both internal and external
* Experience setting direction and leading/developing others to achieve stretch goals.
* Strong Written and Oral Communication
