Birds of a Feather
LGBTQ Legal History Project
A marketing intern will work under the supervision of the project director to enlist sponsors and to promote this project which commemorates LGBTQ legal trailblazers from the 1970s. Trailblazers include law students, law professors and practicing attorneys who were involved in LGBTQ legal activism during that decade.
The intern will reach out to law schools, bar associations, and businesses to invite them to participate in the project as sponsors or to hold educational forums during LGBTQ History Month (October 2022).
Sponsors will be recognized in a memory book that will contain the essays of the living trailblazers and the biographical narratives of those who are deceased.
Internships are sponsored by Spectrum Institute and are open to all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
