Our 10-week Summer Analyst program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in investment banking. The program includes formal training, mentoring, networking events, and real-world projects that provide an invaluable look into the investment banking industry and life as a Full-Time Analyst.
As a Summer Analyst in the Investment Banking group at Stout, you’ll be a key member of multiple deal teams over the course of the program, advising corporate and financial sponsor clients on mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and special situations transactions across a broad range of industries. Our lean deal teams mean that you’ll receive on-the-job training directly from senior bankers throughout the program and that you’ll be expected to assume a high level of responsibility from the get-go.
At Stout, you are engaged in real work right away.
As a Summer Analyst, your day-to-day contributions might include:
- Performing industry and company research;
- Analyzing financial statements and building financial models;
- Performing valuation analyses;
- Preparing marketing materials such as pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations;
- Attending meetings and / or calls with clients;
- Driving the transaction process in conjunction with senior bankers
Qualifications / Skills / Requirements:
- Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related discipline
- Strong academic record
- Demonstrated interest in financial services
- Analytical, quantitative, and attentive to the details
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship
