We Are Who
Nevada Teacher Corps prepares individuals without teaching certification to become teachers for the students who need them most – those in our most underserved communities, where systemic inequities and individual prejudices deny too many children access to a great education. Through Nevada Teacher Corps, you will elevate your academic and professional expertise into a high-impact career as a certified Elementary Education teacher in Clark County Public Schools and various charter schools in the Las Vegas area.
Why Las Vegas
Nevada Teacher Corps (NTC) is a two-year ambitious, teacher-centered effort to invigorate underserved Nevada schools with great teaching. NTC provides a diverse and passionate group of mission-driven aspiring teachers an affordable and accelerated pathway to the classroom.
We recruit, train, certify and support accomplished professionals, recent college graduates and graduating seniors who aren’t yet certified as teachers, but possess the dedication and content knowledge to teach in some of the highest-needs schools. We provide the training, coaching and development needed to provide our students a quality education.
You may have built a successful career, and now wish to use those skills to impact our next generation. You could be an accomplished recent graduate who wants to share your passion for learning with the students of Baltimore City. Whatever your background, you have high expectations for all students and are deeply invested in ensuring all students have access to the education they deserve.
We are currently seeking outstanding candidates to teach Elementary Education.

We collaborate with the state department of education, individual schools, and with teachers, leaders, and community members at schools across Nevada.
Classroom-Centered Preparation: Our support is radically simple: focused practice on key skills, knowledge, and mindsets to get new teachers off to a strong start.
