We are searching for a weekend Front Desk Receptionist on behalf of our client; a busy, dynamic medical imaging clinic company. The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients as they arrive at the clinic, checking them in for their appointments, accurately capturing and updating sensitive patient information in the EMR system and scheduling of patient appointments. The Front Desk Receptionist will also be responsible for answering a multi-line phone, scheduling services and answering questions patients may have.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- A friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to be comfortable interacting with patients and registering patients for their appointments in the lobby
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- At least one year of experience working in a healthcare environment
- Medical terminology knowledge
Schedule:
- Weekends only with one week of training that will be Monday through Friday
- Must be willing to work at either of their Bridgeport and Tanasbourne locations, depending on need.
- There is potential to pick up additional hours to cover sick/vacation time but it is not required.
Pay:
- $19.50/hour to start
Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Candidates must be prepared to pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
