>> My name is Elizabeth Jordan Truby, I work for an organization called Be The Match, we are operated by the National Marrow Donor Program. So what I, what our organization does is we facilitate bone morrow transplants for patients that are, are looking for a life saving transplant. They suffer from either Leukemia or Lymphoma or another blood disease. So what I do in the organization is I work with college students and try to figure out ways to engage them and the mission of our organization. Which is to deliver cures for blood cancers. So I oversee a signature program called Be The Match on campus, it's a student organization. Again allow students to raise awareness about our cause on their campuses. Allows them to recruit potential donors to our Be The Match registry. And allows them to raise funds so that patients can get the transplant that they need. In my role I try to understand basically how college students think and how they interact. Interact and communicate in a 21st century world. Thinking about what's important to them and how we can reach them and how we can engage them in a way that is, that motivates them. That allows their voices to be heard but also allows them to band together, work as a team and make a really important impact in our world.
