There exists a perception about who tech jobs are for. That perception doesn’t often include people from historically marginalized groups and, unfortunately, it’s based on the reality of a very homogenous workforce in that space. This stifles innovation and disproportionately creates a lasting negative impact on the same underrepresented populations experiencing these barriers. How then, can those from underrepresented groups see themselves in a tech space, claim that space, and then thrive in it? In this course, tech diversity advocate Shawna Curran offers answers to that very question.
